But, there was
something in the grave!

The linen strips that had been wrapped
around the the body of Jesus.

The linen that covered his face.

Mary Magdalene discovered the grave was empty!
"They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know
where they have put him!"
(John 19:2)

Peter and John (the disciple Jesus loved) ran to the Grave.

 "He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen"
(vs.5,6)
When the mixture of myrrh and aloes dried, it hardened into the shape of the body.

"They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead."
