"Lord, you know all things; you know
that I love you."
Peter used the word phileo.

"Feed my sheep"

 

John does not make a distinction between agape love and phileo love.

Jesus did not say:
Are you sorry for what you did?
Do you promise never to do it again?
Will you be a fiery disciple?

The need for love is essential in feeding the flock!
