Worship
On the mountain (Gerazim) or in Jerusalem?

"Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
(John 4:21-24)

It was remarkable that Jesus (Jew) even talked to the woman (Samaritan).

This was a revolutionary statement.

Samaritans were a mixed race between Assyrians and Jews. One hundred and twenty five years before the birth of Jesus, the Jews had destroyed the temple on Gerazim. The Jews hated the Samaritans and the Samaritans hated the Jews.

The city of Samaria responded.
"We know that this man really is the savior of the world."
(John 4:42)
