Read John 15:1-17

Expectation after the pruning:
"If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit..."
(15:5)

"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you."
(15:7)
"This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing  yourselves to be my disciples."

(15:8)
"You are my friends if you do what I command."
(15:14)
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and
bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name"

Additional Promises:

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
